2012 Campesina March for Mother Earth

In March 2012, the "Campesina March for Mother Earth" reached the capital of Guatemala after one week of marching. The group sought to have the government respond to its demands linked to the historical problem of territory and the defense and protection of natural resources, which have been threatened since the signing of the Peace Accords by economic policies that position Guatemala as a producer of raw materials.
