2015 Research Institute states EITI is Ineffective
In June 2015, the Central American Institute of Fiscal Studies (ICEFI) publically reiterated that the standards set out by the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) are too limited to be an effective tool in Guatemala.
