Humboldt Centre builds international and regional coalitions
The Humboldt Centre has developed connections with international and regional organizations, such as the Observatory on Mining Conflicts in Central America (OCMAL), and organizations in South Africa and Canada. These efforts have included visiting Canada to meet with civil society groups, such as MiningWatch Canada, and advocating for compliance by the Canadian government with environmental and human rights standards, particularly in relation to the conduct of Canadian multi-national corporations.
