2008 Goldcorp Shareholder Tour of Marlin Mine leads to Shareholder Resolution
In February 2008, a group of shareholders visited the Marlin Mine site to assess the human rights impact of the project. "The group met with NGOs, indigenous people, government authorities and company representatives in order to get a clearer picture of the complex situation. The trip culminated in a shareholder resolution submitted to the company" requesting a formal assessment of the situation.
