2020 EU Parliament calls for release of Guapinol environmental defenders
A public letter written by members of EU Parliament to Honduran authorities expressed concern at continuing arbitrary detention of 8 Guapinol rights defenders and calling for their pre-trial release, particularly in the context of the health risks posed to those in detention during the Covid-19 pandemic.
