Inversiones Ecotek (part of EMCO Group)
Inversiones Ecotek SA de CV was set up in 2018 as another company of the EMCO Group. It was granted the contract to own and operate the pellet processing planta, receiving iron oxide mined at ASP1 and ASP2 sites. It is a sister company to ILP, operated from the same offices in San Pedro Sula.
Access road built. Processing plant in construction since 2018. Extraction and processing due to begin in 2021.
