Inversiones Los Pinares (part of EMCO Group)
Inversiones Los Pinares (ILP) was formerly EMCO Mining, which was set up in 2011 by members of one of Honduras' most powerful families, who own the parent EMCO group. EMCO Mining was granted ASP1 and ASP2 exploitation concessions in 2014 and 2015. In 2017 EMCO Mining changed its name to Inversiones Los Pinares, which remains part of the EMCO group
Access road built. Processing plant in construction since 2018. Extraction and processing due to begin in 2021.
